physical art manipulation
Physical Art Manipulation involves scanning a physical piece of artwork
(such as an oil painting or drawing) into the computer where
it can be manipulated with a graphics software package. Colors can be
experimented with, other pictures can be combined with it, and computerized
effects can be added, all without damaging the original artwork. This
process can produce a completed piece of art or an intermediate stage of the
art work that can be used to help complete the original physical piece of
art.
